The University Preparation 2 Co-op – Business program at Ontario International Secondary School is an advanced, university-focused pathway designed for students preparing for direct entry into business-related university programs. This program builds on foundational knowledge and emphasizes higher-level academic skills, leadership development, and applied business experience through an enhanced Co-op placement.

University Preparation 1 Co-op Business

English for University Studies

This course prepares students for the reading, writing, and research demands of university-level studies. Students develop advanced analytical skills, academic writing techniques, and effective communication strategies applicable to business and social science programs.

Financial Accounting Principles

Students build on foundational accounting knowledge by examining more advanced financial concepts and practices. The course emphasizes financial analysis, interpretation of financial statements, and the role of accounting in business decision-making.

Entrepreneurship: Venture Planning & Strategy

This course focuses on the development of entrepreneurial skills through the creation and evaluation of business ventures. Students learn how to develop business plans, analyze market opportunities, manage risk, and apply strategic thinking to real-world business challenges.

International Business Strategy
