Grade 10 Compulsory
In Grade 10 Mathematics, students build upon their foundational mathematical knowledge gained in Grade 9. Grade 10 English focuses on developing students’ communication skills through the study of literature, writing, and oral communication. Introduction to Business provides students with insights into the world of entrepreneurship and business operations. Students explore business concepts, marketing strategies, financial literacy, and the fundamentals of starting and managing a business.
Visual Arts in Grade 10 offers students the opportunity to further develop their artistic talents and creativity. Students explore various art forms and techniques, fostering self-expression and artistic appreciation.
Grade 10 Music deepens students’ understanding of music theory, history, and performance. Through musical exploration and composition, students enhance their musical skills and broaden their musical horizons.
Grade 10 Drama immerses students in the world of theatrical arts. Through script analysis, acting techniques, and dramatic productions, students refine their acting skills and gain a deeper appreciation for the performing arts.
In Grade 10 Computer Science, students delve into programming and computer technology. They explore coding languages, algorithm development, and computer hardware, building a strong foundation for future studies in the field.
Communication Technology introduces students to multimedia production and digital communication. Students learn to create digital media content using various software tools. (Note: Requires additional purchase of Adobe Creative Cloud).
In Grade 10 Healthy Active Living, students focus on physical fitness, health, and wellness. Through physical activities and health education, students develop lifelong healthy habits and well-being.
Grade 10 French continues to develop students’ French language skills, emphasizing communication, reading, and writing in French. This course further immerses students in Francophone culture and language.
